Smyth Design & Remodeling is the pride and joy of father and son, Mike and Mike Smyth. Together we value the challenge of solving complex problems for homeowners in Arizona. Our journey to being master craftsmen, clear communicators and, not to brag, but guys with a great sense of humor who have developed a comprehensive network here in Arizona would probably be a bit tedious to read.

Recently, an elderly woman called us almost in tears, because she had a partial roof collapse after one of Arizona’s infamous rainy microbursts. The situation was dire for her specifically due to her physical restrictions and isolation. Any homeowner would have been stressed. But she called the right people. She was overjoyed when our team got to work right away, a team of experts who were able to not only restore the damaged structure of her roof but also make a specific improvement that opened up new lighting for her as well.
This quick response and careful assessment is what we’re known for, because it’s why we got into remodeling, after decades of generalized work, in the first place. Other builders specialize in new construction, which is fine… for them. But we like helping people who already have established homes with intricate needs. We like to pit ourselves against puzzles that push us. We love to find ways to specifically help real people, people who need us and whose lives are changed by the level of service we offer.
Last year another homeowner called us to set up a consultation after she had mistakenly made a multi million dollar investment into a home only to discover a serious issue with the property. We rose to the challenge. After our consultation it was clear that the fix could not only remedy her main dilemma but also substantially improve the value of her home. Within eight months of our work she was able to sell the property with a six figure profit.
We don’t take remodeling lightly. It’s something we do because we are invested in the lives of our community here in Arizona.
